ResponsibilitiesDUTIES:
Ensure all aspects of the unit outage and reliability plans are being followed and adhered to maintain asset availability data and drive productivity of the assigned department.
Develop plans and schedules for repairs and replacements.
Coordinate outages and downtime with other units.
Monitor daily maintenance activities.
Develop and implement maintenance improvement plans.
Support mechanical repairs and improve bad actors.
Identify emerging issues within work execution processes and communicate issues or barriers to superiors.
Determine resource strategy for the unit to allow timely completion of preventative maintenance, corrective maintenance, and capital project work.
Coordinate turnaround execution and provide leadership updates daily.
Audit and ensure compliance with all permits and energy isolations.
Utilize root cause analysis to identify simple problems, identify process problems, and ensure concrete solutions are proposed.
Investigate problems in the operation of units related to process safety.
Provide solutions and take actions to prevent the same problems from occurring in the future.
QualificationsREQUIREMENTS:
Requires a Bachelor's degree, or foreign equivalent degree, in Mechanical Engineering or Industrial Engineering and two (2) years of experience in the job offered, or two (2) years of experience in a related occupation developing plans and schedules for repairs and replacements; coordinating outages and downtime with other units; developing and implementing maintenance improvement plans; auditing and ensuring compliance with all permits and energy isolations; utilizing root cause analysis to identify simple problems, identify process problems, and ensure concrete solutions are proposed; and investigating problems in the operation of units related to process safety.
